Join us for an interactive panel about design and thought featuring panelists Van Tucker (Nashville Fashion Alliance CEO), Daniel LeBreton, Ph.D. (Psychologist), and C H R I S O L U X (Art Director and Teacher). Moderated by Colton Mulligan (FoxFuel Creative CEO).

Daniel LeBretonDaniel LeBreton

Daniel founded Impavid Consulting based upon a desire to help organizations dignify work, engage people, and inspire excellence. He has spent more than a decade helping organizations build vibrant cultures by enhancing the practice of leadership and teamwork. Specifically, Daniel provides leadership assessment, leadership development, executive coaching, and team development services to organizations ranging from small non-profits to Fortune 500 companies.

Daniel has worked with hundreds of leaders and executives on their professional growth and development by leveraging the best of social science and psychology. He recognizes that knowing something and doing it are two different things – and he helps leaders achieve sustainable improvements to their leadership practices.

Daniel earned an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Virginia Tech. In addition to running Impavid Consulting, he teaches in the Massey Graduate School of Business at Belmont University and in the world-renown Peabody College of Education and Human Development at Vanderbilt University.

CHRISOLUX is an art director, teacher and consultant. He was trained by Hank Richardson (among others) at Portfolio Center in Atlanta. He spent 5 years at James Victore, Inc. in Brooklyn, NY where he had the opportunity to work for TIME Magazine, Esquire, Wired, Spin, Ebony, The New York Times, The Centers for Disease Control, David Byrne and Brian Eno, Werner Herzog, Hiut Jeans, and Yoji Yomamoto. He began his teaching career at The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and continues it today at O'More College of Design in Franklin, TN. He believes great work can only come from one place; "yourself". With this in mind, he prepares students to be effective visual communicators by teaching them the power of connection, self-awareness, and vulnerability.

 

Van TuckerVan Tucker

Van Tucker is the CEO of the Nashville Fashion Alliance; an organization of like- minded professionals dedicated to building a sustainable and globally recognized fashion industry through advocacy, economic development, resources and education in Nashville. Over the last two years, she has led this industry through the organizational process through a collaborative, organic approach, working with over 150 fashion brands and advisors.

The Franklin, Tennessee, native began her career in banking and financial services career as a teller in 1976. She worked at Bank of America for nearly two decades, developing and executing new initiatives. Van and her teams developed the first captive markets business program, and she led the first national entertainment industry team for BOA. She was a co-founder of Avenue Bank as Chief Creative Officer until 2008, responsible for the development of the brand, and the entertainment industry focus.

Connection and servant leadership are hallmark characteristics. She is a mentor at The Entrepreneur Center and the Arts & Business Council’s Periscope Program. Van has served on over 25 community boards from the Girl Scouts to the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. She was president of Leadership Music in 2005-2006, and a founding member of several organizations including the Americana Music Association, Tennessee Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and the Arts & Business Council.

Van received her MBA in 1996 from The Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. She is a Myers Briggs Certified Master Practitioner who consults with start-ups to Fortune 100 companies to customize leadership development initiatives tailored to the individual’s personality and company’s objectives.

 

Colton MulliganColton Mulligan

Colton Founded FoxFuel Creative in 2015 in his basement, and the company is now one of Nashville’s top ten agencies, producing work for: TSA Pre-Check, Marcus Mariota, Ben Folds, Pinnacle Bank, Saint Thomas Health, Ascension Health, Chip & Joanna Gaines, Lipscomb University, Asurion, and many more. As CEO at FoxFuel Creative, Colton guides the strategy for developing brand identity and crafting campaigns.

He designs and deploys innovative campaigns and platforms that allow brands to connect with consumers in smarter, faster ways. These platforms touch on content delivery, web development, SEO, paid search, online display, social media, email marketing, app development, and integrated digital initiatives.
