DJ Stout, Pentagram Partner and principal of the Austin office, will present short case studies and discuss Pentagram’s development of comprehensive identity systems for cultural institutions all over the world including MOMA, The Contemporary Austin, The Barnes Foundation, Museum of Arts and Design, The Perot Museum of Science and Nature, Royal Academy of Arts, Dallas Arboretum, and the Frist Art Museum–the host of this AIGA Nashville event.

DJ Stout is one of 24 principals of the acclaimed international design consultancy Pentagram. Stout joined Pentagram as a partner in the Austin office in 2000. Pentagram, founded in London in 1972, currently has four offices around the world. In a special 1998 issue, American Photo selected DJ as one of the “100 most important people in photography.” In 2004 I.D. magazine selected Stout for “The I.D. Fifty.” In 2010 DJ Stout was recognized as an AIGA Fellow Award recipient for his exceptional contributions to the field of graphic design. Also in 2010, The Society of Illustrators honored DJ Stout with the national Richard Gangel Art Director Award.
