FAQ’s
Can I show up for only part of the event?
By claiming a ticket, you have agreed to stay through the entire set of tours to both ST8MNT and Asurion, plus the afternoon Q/A Panel Discussion. Please attend all and do not be late to any location/event.
Can I bring other people with me who don’t have tickets?
For tours: No. Our locations have graciously opened their doors to welcome us and they are expecting a certain number of people.
For the panel discussion: Yes! Feel free to bring a friend.
When are tickets available to claim spots?
Tickets are available until Monday, September 23rd
There are only 40 spots (tickets available). First come, first serve, but please leave some tickets for others.
How should I dress?
Casual professional. You shouldn’t feel like you’re going to an interview, but you are networking with people in the industry and visiting a professional workplace. Wear comfortable shoes.
Should I show up with my portfolio?
No. You can show up with business cards that have your portfolio website. Networking is always possible with fellow students and designers.
Common sense 101: lock car doors and move anything of value to the trunk as people should always do when they leave a car parked and walk away from it. Walk and travel in groups; if a stranger asks for money on the street, it is recommended that you just keep confidently walking (then donate responsibly on your own time, if you would like).
